Trix help

Hey guys looking for some guidance. Today I used Trix as I have many times before without issue. Sprayed in the car, let it swell for five minutes, hoses off, and then washed. The pint was cool to the touch and the trix never dried on the finish. However it seems led to stain the paint. I clayed a polished the paint with a flex 3401 and I it will still not come out of the paint. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Car is a 1970 Chevelle SS Mist Green Metallic. It was repainted in 1990 and has a few layers of clear.

I would suggest calling Corey and company at Sky’s the limit. They are super knowledgeable.

I will say they say not to use TarX on plastic. Trix has tarx in it and that what some plastics will look like if you use TarX on it. Early 90’s clear coat resprays weren’t the best technology.

I’m just gonna throw this out there but maybe some Meguiars #7 will help. The oils in 7 may replenish what has been removed. That’s just a Hail Mary tho.
