TRIX & Hyrdo2 advise please

Hi all,

I have a BMW 430D 2017 and looking to keep the car in good condition, especially with winter about to start here in the UK.

I have selected the following 2 products due to their ease of applying.

1. TRIX
2. Hydro2

After doing a lot of research I was planning on applying the TRIX to my car while dry with dirt still on it so that TRIX does not run down the bodywork of the car. I was going to do the bodywork and alloys and then let the product work and rinse off with a powerjet.

1. Is TRIX safe to spray onto glass and plastic? I have an M Performance body kit made of plastic and don't want to ruin it.

2. Can I use a soft sponge to spread the product around?

After rinsing TRIX off, I was then going to apply the hydro2 using a contact wash using the Merino wash Mit.

1. Can I just use Hydro2 and wash the car by hand letting the product sit on the car while I go around, or would it be better to wash panel by panel and then rinse off?

Once I have finished rinsing the car down I was going to dry it using a drying microfiber towel.

Is this procedure advisable? Is there anything else I should add in for better results?

You may want to wash the wheels and decontaminate those prior to spraying the paint. That way you can get a deep clean on the wheels.

Per the product description pafe

Precautions:

• Avoid polycarbonate headlights, clear bra material, and sensitive plastics
• Avoid use in direct sun
• Avoid allowing to dry surface
• For unknown materials test on small area first
• Use in ventilated area
• Use hand and face protection

2. Can I use a soft sponge to spread the product around?

If you are going to spray it on the dry paint while there is still some dirt, you don't want to do this. This will create swirls and scratches. If you plan to agitate than wash the car first to have the surface clean.

Per the product description page

Directions:

• Shake bottle (Do not allow to seperate in bottle during use)
• Spray across affected area
• Allow to dwell approximately 4-5 minutes
• Gently agitate with wash mitt
• Thoroughly rinse all surfaces

You want to follow the directions when using hydro2.

If you spray trix on the dirty paint then proceed with a regular wash. Then work panel by panel with hydro2 by spraying it on the surface and rinsing it well. Repeat until you are finished.

Then you can dry the paint. Per the product description.

• Do NOT apply HydrO2 in the sun or to a hot surface! Applying in this manner will cause streaks that do not wipe off easily.
• In shaded location or shop wash your vehicle and remove any dirt from the surfaces. (For Best Results use CarPro Reset or Iron X Snow Soap)
• Surface must be well cleaned from soap residue and left wet with water.
• Dilute 1 part HydrO2 to 6~10 parts water. We recommend a spray bottle for fast and easy application.
• Spray fine mist of diluted HydrO2 on no more than 1/4 of vehicle before rinsing. Very little is needed and no overlap is needed.
• From time you start spraying a section to rinsing off should be approximately 30 seconds or less.
• Immediately rinse well with strong water pressure to produce physical shock and create a well formed coating.
• Repeat steps 5-7 on the next section of the vehicle rinsing well before moving to next section.
• Finish by "flood rinsing" the vehicle without a spray nozzle to push all the water off from top down.
• Dry any remaining water by blowing off with a clean Dry Me Crazy Jr.
