Using pure IPA instead of eraser

I'm about to apply CQuartz UK and then Gliss on top of that to my brand new car which should arrive in a week. This will be my first time applying a ceramic coating but i've done a tremendous amounts of research and feel quite confident by now. I have all the products needed for the prep, application and maintenance besides Eraser. There is only one shop that I know of in my country which sells CarPro products and unfortunately they are out of eraser at the moment and they have no idea when the next batch will arrive. They also did not have any alternative in the inventory at the moment. They also offer the application service themselves and they said that they use just plain IPA. As I bought a lot of stuff from them, they gave me a free 0.5l bottle of IPA. They said it's undiluted (almost 100% IPA) and that's how they use it. I just wanted to doubleconfirm with you guys. Is there any reason why using pure IPA as Eraser substitute is not a good idea? Should I dilute it? I've read that usually detailers dilute it to 50 or 25% but I have yet to find reason why. Just for cost reasons or is there anything else I'm missing?

P.S. For anyonw wondering why I will not order a bottle of Eraser from Amazon or eBay, the shipping and tax would be so high that it would cost almost 50 bucks for a bottle and the shipping time is also from few weeks up to a month.
