Vital Car Care

For the true enthusiast. The owner had already been a customer of TopSpeed Motorsports on an different GTR, so when he traded it in for the "new" model. He upped the ante and had TSM build a whole new motor for him and do all the other upgrades. The level of detail was astonishing and the owner wanted the outside to match the inside. The car had been previously repaired due to a garage accident when he met a trash can and while the repair work was great, it didnt match the rest of the car. The factory paint on the GTR's is Nissans version of a "self healing" clear which to my eyes meant orange peel city, especially the "fixed" area and the factory area. Color was spot on, but the different it makes was nuts! Only 1 way to fix this, leveling!

Process:
Thorough wash / clay to inspect all areas
Measured paint readings through all sanding areas
Unigrit all major areas
  • 3" 3k foam w Interface
  • 3" 1500 w and w/o interface
  • 6" 3k foam w Interface
  • 6" 1500 w and w/o interface
Velvet / Denim Orange Peel Pads
Multi-Step polished using V32-8
CQuartz applied over all surfaces

There are a few GTR's, Porsche, Audi and even a Mustang gt500 in there keeping her company.
