Gentlemen,

I apologize if this is posted in the wrong forum, but I'm not sure where else it may fit. I am hoping you may help me out with some insight. I have a 2013 chevy Silverado in blue topaz metallic. Last year I had it polished and cquartz uk applied. I have been thrilled with the durability and ease of maintenance, but it isn't quite the look I was hoping for. This color is a dark blue, that when the light hits it right has an incredible bright blue with metal flake that just pops out. Unfortunately, the cquartz I felt muted that effect and it just looked like glossy dark blue paint. I have discussed this with the detailer that I use and told him I would like to highlight or enhance the bright blue/metal flake pop and he has suggested looking at a wax. My only concerns with waxes are 1. dust attraction and 2. staining of trim. I am currently looking at 2 waxes carpro offers, WaxAddict Quartz and Bouncers Sherbet Fizz. I guess my questions are as follows:

WaxAddict Quartz:
1. Will it stain trim?
2. If carpro essence was used prior to application will it bond to the essence?

Bouncers Sherbet Fizz:
1. Will it stain trim?
2. What kind of realistic longevity am I looking at with this?
3. Do you think it will give the look I am looking for? (I know this is difficult if not impossible to answer)

I am also open to suggestions of any other products to consider, although I am not looking for any "show waxes", I would like decent longevity, preferably around 3 months or longer.

Thanks everyone!

I seriously believe this may be what you are looking for http://www.carpro-us.com/coatings-sealants-spray-wax/four-star-ultimate-paint-protection-16-oz/.
This review was written by Corey, and the black mustang in the thread is mine (and ya I'm that Waxaholic) ...http://www.live2detail.com/showthre...Star-Ultimate-Paint-Protection&highlight=STAR Check it out!
I've chased what you are now chasing, and used many, many waxes (some costing a stupid amount of $$). I know 4* UPP is considered a synthetic paint sealant and not a natural wax, but it is formulated with carnauba, and the look rivals any wax I've ever seen. As to durability, I've consistently seen 5-6 months easily.
Sorry I don't have any pictures showing metal flake, but I don't think you would be disappointed.
