Hey everyone, I had a quick question. We have some weathertech mats in our edge. We got them about 3 years ago and they get vacuumed every time I clean up the interior (Every 2nd week) and they get a full scrub down with APC and rinsed with a pressure washer every month. Last time I cleaned them they were looking a little discolored so I tried some perl on them and let it dry and then I wiped off any extra product that was remaining. I felt them and they were slippery so I re washed them again. Has anyone used a dressing on weathertech's that didn't make them slippery made them darker? Thanks

I use PERL 2:1 dilution on my WeatherTechs, no problems with being slippery...

James, thanks also for the reply. I just got a brand new set that I'll be using next winter and was wondering the same. I've used a foaming tire shine in the past with good results.

Your welcome Richy! Taking care of them when new is even better, definitely doesn't take much product. I was actually tempted to try Dlux...

Hmmm now ya got me thinking about dlux on them. I wonder how much it would take

I've got a new bottle coming. I think I'll be doing that to mine!

Let the games begin lol - I think it's a great idea especially for those that actually have to deal with snow/salt and all that crap from winter - livin' in Cali has its benefits

Just make sure you let the DLux gas out somewhere well ventilated for a couple days before throwing them in the car would be my advise. And be sure to let us know how it goes ;)

Ultima Interior Shampoo Gel leaves a very nice sheen on WT Mats IME. No slip.
