1)what does flashing of coating means i.e. how can you tell that it has started to flash , by touching or watching
2)what should it feel like when the coating has flashed and i have started to remove the excess coating and high points ,should it feel sticky or non-sticky

Welcome to the forum!
The Flashing can be seen when the coating shows a rainbow of sorts. It will be easier to see if you have really good lighting, which is an important part of the process. It is difficult to give you a specific time because that will depend on your environmental conditions.
There are threads in the CQUK that will help you with your next question. I would suggest that you head on over and check out those threads.

Flashing will also depend on the temperature, humidity level, thickness applied, as I eluded to earlier.
CQUK was engineered for climates that are colder, not saying that you cannot apply it in warmer temps. Those FAQ’s can be read in the other parts of the forum.

Just make sure you have really good lighting to help in the process, I can’t stress that enough. Be patient and Good Luck!
