What happens when water touches the paint before Cquartz cures

Just out of curiosity, assuming reload is not added on top to protect the coating before it has time to cure..e.g 24hrs / 48hrs.

Either water is left to dry or is wiped off. Just wondering what is the worst that could happen? It would be good to know what sort of imperfection / damage we are dealing with.

Anyone with experience or pictures would be great. So much so till I feel like testing on a small panel or test bonnet panel.

Keep the surface dry for at least one hour after application (I'm in the longer the better camp), this is a must. After that, wipe any water off the surface during the first 24 hours after application. If you do not apply Reload to protect the coating before it cures, and it gets wet/rained on, it "may" leave water spots in the coating. Avoid detergents and chemicals for 7 days after application.
