What's Your Favorite Beer?

DARK HORSE

Certified Finest Installer
I really enjoy a good beer on a hot summer day. Unfortunately for my waistline I love real beer, the ones that are VERY high in carbohydrates. Ones that are almost like eating a whole loaf of bread (as in terms of carbs)...

I like ambers, darks, and porters. Some of my favorites are:

Black Butte Porter
New Belgium Fat Tire
Alaskan Amber
Bitch Creek Extra Special Brown (This one is brewed by a local brewery, a very cool place to visit. http://www.grandtetonbrewing.com/ourbeers.html)

What is some of you guy's favs???

As long as I'm chasing my beer with some delicious Makers Mark it don't really matter much besides ice cold.

We recently moved to VA and I'm LOVING this local brew!

It's a Pale Ale, it says it right on the orange label :) I really liked the Sam Adams Rebel IPA, now I think this may be my new fav

When I have to take it with me in a cooler (like fishing, golfing, etc.), I go with Modelo Especial Cerveza (cans). When I want a beer at home sitting on the deck or watching tv, I open a bottle of Modelo Negra (dark) poured in an iced mug. I like most Mexican beers and there are plenty of them where I live here in Texas and Modelo is more reasonable in price than most of them. My all time favorite, however, which I can not get anywhere but upstate NY is Ithaca Nut Brown.

I'm a big fan of Sierra Nevada Torpedo and San Tan's Devils Ale! Another great one is 99 Schilling...

Knotty Pine is zeroing in on my scale as well.

I'm more of a spirits guy, but there's a couple beers I enjoy:

Root and miller high life

When I was still drinking I would walk a mile on hot coals for any of the following (and yes most at 9+% alcohol). PROUD Canadian ex-pat!!!

WOW Doc! Unfortunately I’ve never had the opportunity to try any of these. They look really cool though (the labels are awesome, makes them look classy)!
