Yes I know, this brush is made for scratch free wheel cleaning I get it. But tosave time can this brush be used successfully on tires also? Is this a decent idea, help? I mean of course the very large brush.

I find that my wheel woolie brush isn't stiff enough to really deep clean tires if they are dirty enough. If my tires are clean or dressed recently without much buildup I'll use a wheel woolie to lightly agitate the tires while cleaning the wheels. I usually agitate the tires after the wheel barrels and faces have already been scrubbed to limit contamination or smearing of any dressings on the wheel paint. Rinse the brush before heading on to the next wheel/tire as always.

Awesome, but why rinse brush after each wheel?

Well, you don't have to if you don't want to.

I rinse my wash mitt after each panel, so I apply the same technique to other brushes. It's a habit. :D

I like to keep my wheels glossy.

Edit: Just to explain further - My wheels aren't chrome or OEM alloy silver, they are a basecoat/clearcoat gunmetal paint.
