Working tempetures

Picked up my new car last weekend and took an extra day off this weekend with intention to do a full decontamination, polish with Essence, 2 coats cquartz UK, Dlux, and reload. However, the weather has turned and they are now calling for rain/snow all weekend with lows in the 30's and highs in the 40's.
I have an insulated, but unheated garage. I can run a propane heater that can get it up to 55 degrees fairly easily, but I can't run it overnight and temps will likely drop to about 45 or so when I turn the heater off. Garage temp right now is 57 degrees with 66% humidity with a dehumidifier running non-stop, but it does not work well under 55 degrees.
At this point, I'm seriously considering waiting for better weather. If I decide to go ahead with my original plans, how will the lower temps and high humidity play a role?

Lower temps and high humidity reduce flash times making coatings more difficult to work with. Wipe off can be gummy/sticky with some coatings. I’m not sure about the “best” temperature or humidity for UK but it was designed for use in the UK which can be both cold and humid.

If you can get your garage to 50 with 65% humidity I don’t foresee much of a problem with UK or Dlux. For both just wipe on and watch for them to flash off and wipe with a low nap microfiber towel. Personally I find high humidity a bigger problem than low temperature. 50 degrees should be fine. If it’s colder, then I personally would wait for a nicer day. Good luck.

And, of course it's snowing... Still have to wash outside as my car is too dirty for rinseless inside [emoji849]. Looks like the weather might be making my decision for me

If I moved to a warmer climate, it would be even hotter in the summer, and there would be less snow!
It cleared up and the sun came out. I spent 3 hours outside in 40-45 degree breezy weather. Full decon wash, then back inside for clay and prep. Unfortunately, I'm not impressed with the clay I have. I had picked up some Pinnacle XMT clay I picked up on sale a few years back and it sat unopened. It was super sticky, but also did not pick up contaminants like previous clay I've used. It didn't leave a super smooth finish either. I'm considering running out to grab Meg's or mother's clay in the morning just because I can still feel rough spots in the paint using the baggie test. I might try a test spot with polish first.

Weather turned out a bit warmer than the were calling for and I've been able to keep my garage right around 60 since Saturday morning.
I definitely need to get some better clay before I polish my wife's car, but I'm happy with the results.
Overall the paint was in good condition, but there were a couple light scratches Essence didn't remove so I switched to Meg's 205 and a lake country white polishing pad for the hood and passenger rear quarter panel. Everything else just got a 1 stage correction with Essence. I'm pretty happy with the results.
Planning on applying 2 layers of cquartz UK tomorrow and then letting my car sit until Wednesday morning when I have to go to work.
