2018 Subaru STI - CQuartz Professional

I was recently honored with a client of mine coming back for the second time this year to have his 2018 Subaru STI corrected & coated with CQuartz Professional.
He had his 2012 STI completed earlier this year, and when he traded it in for a new one - he came straight in to get worked on.

Menzerna FG400

CQuartz Professional





Here we see the pre-existing condition of the vehicle. It was difficult getting the light in the right spot to show the damage.
For a new vehicle, there was an excessive amount of light swirling, some minor RIDS, and lots of contamination.


The results after the compounding & polishing:



Then came the CQuartz Professional!



The end result was great. The winter wheels (on the car) received Hydro2, and the summer wheels - which were included off the car - were coated with CQuartz Professional.
Glass was all sealed with Reload.

Here is my current setup:
  • Sony A6000
  • Sigma ART 19mm f/2.8
  • Sony 50mm f/1.8
  • Sony 55-210mm

I use as much natural light as I can, but obviously artificial for effects as well.
I do all of my editing in Adobe Lightroom & Photoshop. I did purchase Affinity Photo as well to experiment with as well, which is turning out quite nice!
