Boats and Cquartz

Avid user of Cuartz products here but I have someone now asking me to do a boat. Looking for comments and suggestions on what to top it with. I really like the TiO2. Being here in the South, I certainly don't have issue with cold temps. Once corrected, what would folk suggest for the topping(s)?

Would Cquartz work as well?

Which version or combo would be best and why?

We actually have a whole group of people that put CQuartz on their boats. I would say the Tio2 will work great but the UK 3.0 is also a great option. Especially for the bottom of the boats for additional chemical and salt resistance in the water. In regards to a topper, we have a large following of Hydro2 users for boats. The ease of application is what I think most of them are attracted too.

Great thank you. It is your standard gelcoat. What should one expect to be the application amount vs auto paint. I have read conflicting things about whether or not gelcoat "absorbs" some of the product so it takes more. Is that true? If so, is it something like 3 coats to get it covered well?

Not entirely sure about that. I would say that you should still be ok with just 2 coats of the product but perhaps applying it a little more heavily than you would on auto paint would benefit more. Unfortunately we have not had any hands on boat coating experience ourselves, but only heard the feedback from customers.
