I love shiny things
A few weeks ago I did a full correction http://carproforum.com/showthread.p...tion-Loaded-with-tons-on-swirls-and-holograms!
I got a call from the client stating that these were popping up in different sizes all over the paint.
"What are they and what can I use on them to get rid of them?" From the pics I wasn't sure what they are.
I asked him to stop by so I could look at them?
Problem:
Client sent text pics of circles/stains on the paint.
I wanted to look, touch and feel the stains for myself.
I didn't know what the circles were? bird poop, sap, etc.
Solution:
I started with a little squirt of Carpro Spotless and a BOA towel.
A little rubbing with the BOA towel and the circles were completely gone.
Sadly, even the BOA made fine scratches on the dreaded Lexus Obsidian black.
I gave him a small "sample" size to take with him in case any more seem to pop up.
I kinda feel bad for him. He is a car guy with OCD. Obsidian Black is gonna make him crazy.
I suggested a PPF, be it XPel Ultimate or 3M Pro Series II then cover the PPF with CQ FINEST.
There's a couple of local shops that do PPF (Sadly I don't...at this time) I'm looking forward to it.
I suggested he let me polish the (Obscene) black back to perfection & take it immediately to get PPF.
The good news is that whatever it was (possibly some form of rain fallout) Carpro Spotless saved the day!
