Do we know what the price point will be for this compared to FlyBy30?
A 10ml bottle should do 3 vehicles and will sell for $29.99. A 10ml kit will include Ceriglass and Eraser, it will sell for $34.99. A 50ml bottle should do around 15 vehicles and will sell for $94.99.

The description says it's based on latest mobile phone screen coating technology, does it mean I can use it on my phone as well?

So does the amount of vehicles it can cover only include the front windshield or the rest of the glass as well? Either way I'm looking forward to trying it soon

The examples I gave are for the windshield only. However if you did only one coat on the side glass (which is all that would be needed) I would think that 10ml would be enough for two cars.

Dear Tad, Heath, Corey, & Friends

I'm trying to figure out which extra applicators I should order for Forte. I put Forte on my van's (2012 Odyssey) massive windshield and dropped the included cotton applicators twice, resulting in three spent applicators for application. If I buy more Forte later on, I want more applicators. Which ones should I get?

Also, I assume the "business" side (the side with the Forte and contacts the glass) is that suede-looking side. Am I correct? The other side looks like gauze.

I polished the windshield twice, wiped down with APC twice, and wiped down with IPA twice (out of Eraser but not for long), before application. The directions stipulate a "few drops" but I used 10-15 drops at a time. It flashed off in about 1/10th of a second until the third coat. Then I got a very slight haze. I didn't trust that any product was getting put on the glass when the applicator stopped producing anything on the glass, so I applied more Forte to the applicator. I bet I used 7-8mL of Forte for three coats, because I'm unsure of myself and always apply too much of everything, and the van's windshield is larger than some countries.

I buffed off the haze with the included applicators as directed and applied Forte to my wipers as directed. (I'm not sure any Forte actually made it to the wipers, though, because the applicator looked and felt dry to me, but since the directions said not to add any more Forte, I didn't.)

The next morning I had a very slight haze on the windshield but it buffed right off with a Fast Glass towel.

So after all this yammering, which applicators should I buy to have on hand the next time I apply Forte?

Thank you in advance for any help you may offer.

Hi Jaddie,

Women's cotton makeup pads will work just fine. You should be able to find them in the makeup section at Walmart, or anywhere that sells women's makeup... Just try to get the round ones that look similar to the ones that came in your kit. As to the business end; I must admit that I've never thought about, but I really don't think it matters. I think I've always used the softer, more cottony looking side. Maybe someone else can chime in on this...

Dear Tad

I'll see if I can find some at Walmart or Amazon. The applicators that come with Forte are more complex than the disposable makeup applicators I've seen. These have a side reminiscent of suede and a side with gauze. There's a polyfil layer in between.

Thank you for responding.

Update: I believe they're called "cotton rounds" and I believe I found an exact match, at Dollar Tree, no less.

Without your suggestion I wouldn't have known what to look for.

Su-weet Jadie! Those are exactly what I was thinking of, and yes now that you say it (makeup rounds) I am sure of it! Those will work just fine buddy!
