Lake Country HD Orbital pads now available!!

Merlin

are you still using the washer with the smaller backing plate?

The Kevin Brown Washer mod removes all of the friction between the backing plate and the skirt on the LHR 15 or 21.
With a spacer between the backing plate and the machine's backing plate mounting pad, the anti-spin is disengaged
The machine will then deliver increased backing plate rotation, this increases cutting speed & delivers improved results.

SHORT ANSWER: Yes

I'm not Merlin but for me I use the 5" BP on Rupes 21 cuz I have many more 5" pads and 6" are just so big that I found myself switching back and forth so much due to the 6" being to big for many areas. I also find the 5" stalls less on the curved panels, the smaller pad AND the washer mod help with this I feel.

I ordered the 5" plate. Going to try it out this weekened. Thanks for the input guys.

Thanks Merlin!

I tried out all three pads yesterday with my Flex 3401. I used the Blue pad with Scholls S3 on the hood of a 15 year old CR-V. Then the Orange pad I used Reflect polish. I thought the pads worked well. The hood wasn't bad but I was dying to try them. I finished up with some Reload v2014 as the LSP.
