New CQuartz vs CQuartz UK?

Hey guys- Just picked up my new 2016 Tundra. I coated my 2014 Tundra with CQUK.

Has the CQuartz formula been updated? I was browsing the site for 50ml size (2 coats on the truck) and saw that the CQuartz offering had "New Formula" in the title. It's summer time here in Northern VA, so temps are in the 80s-90s.

Is the new CQuartz better than CQUK? If they are still just different, how does the new formula compare to the CQUK?

Thanks!

In Jersey, I have been using CQUK. I have never used the non UK version since my applications are early spring or fall. The U.K.version is for those in cooler temps vs. warmer humid. Reading the product descriptions, it states with UK use in temps up to 80 degrees and anything above us the regular version of CQ, which addresses the application in humid summer climates.

With that said, my 2015 Tundra was treated to CQ Finest by an approved installer.

Can't wait to see pics!

Steve

Both are very very good , the "new" Cquartz is not so new anymore lol, we update it last year.
the only main difference is the flash time which is slight longer in Cquartz and using Ti02 inside for extra gloss reflection. HTH

Cool, Steve! Thanks for all the information! I'm feeling like going with the regular CQuartz this time to give it a shot. 75 yesterday but calling for 90+ in the upcoming days. Just curious how the updated CQuartz will compare :)

What color is your Tundra?

Thanks for the info, Avi!

So the (not so :))) new CQuartz has more gloss than CQUK?

Not sure if it helps, but my truck has silver metallic paint.

Below is a picture one of my customers sent me of his new Tundra that got CQUK.

I've found that UK has a more darkening effect, which complimented this truck nicely. Temperature was around 72F,so it was essentially a wipe on wipe off procedure.

It's now been topped with regular CQ, but this picture shows a couple weeks after the initial procedure when the customer was doing a maintenance wash.
