Now Available: CarPro Flash Pads!!!

Y not 5 inch?
Well, the velcro area is probably slightly below 6" actually. I haven't received the 6" size yet but as always I'll list the full list of dimensions when I measure them upon arrival.

UPDATE: Just received info back on the large pad - the velcro side is 5.9" and the polishing face is 6.3" (150mm/160mm)

Any chance of them being available in 5 or 5.5 in the future?

There probably won't be another option than these two.

And do you have a price point yet?
I will figure it out and post this evening! (going to be around 5-6$ and 10-12$) Also look for them to enter store tonight :) They arrive tomorrow!!

Well this answers my questions in your other post about the 5 or 5.5" pads.

Are these pads more aggressive that wool? I notice they finish down much better than wool but I'm just trying to figure out where these will fit.

Would you recommend using a polish with these pads or only compounds? Are compounds that require a longer working time not ideal for these pads?

We're you able to measure how much clear coat was removed by these pads in comparison to older pads.

Thanks for reading and I cannot wait to try these out! They look like a great new tool!

For my style I get faster cut with these then I do with wool.

I have not measured the clear but they cut fast.

You can use polishes also for sure

The speed of polish breakdown you want depends on what your trying to do but yes can definitely use one that takes longer if your trying to cut more or if you are following with finishing polish and want to wipe off sooner. Paint type will depend also

I haven't used mine yet, but finally have a car that can benefit from it.

The foam is WAY hard....how are these on heat buildup?

Since they won't make 5", we could ship them to Kevin Brown and have him cut them down for us :) He does this on my Rupes BPs and I love it.

I tested the smaller 3in pads a while ago and it turned an OG PC into a swirl removing monster, and still finished out pretty well depending on the finish. You really can't beat them for smaller areas like pillars, intricate bumpers, mirrors etc. I recently received the 6in pads, and when paired with a Rupes and S03+ they just destroy swirls. Great products that everyone should try out!

6" pads cut like crazy on the 3401
