Obsessive Compulsive Disorder

This OCD is self diagnosis.
Well I only have 2 cars 1 garage kept mine and wife'y is left to the brutal Florida sun especially this time of the years.
Both cars have ceramic coatings and both look great.
Thinking it being 1.5-2 years since liquid Armour was put on by yours truly and it gets detailed often by a product"chemical guys Vitalize" meant to keep ceramic coating up to optimum.
Not that i can see any deterioration on wife'y white car and it still has a nice shine and gloss about it.
I have a urge to do something .
Was thinking of giving it a good wash and treating it with eraser and then trying Essence plus ,looking for some extra GLOSS.
Would gliss be a better option ,I don't want to have to remove the coating that is on the car for it was polished well before coating.
Rmember it's OCD at work here
But if something relative simple will give me more gloss at a reasonable cost I down for it?
So asking the guys that are supposed to know how to deal with OCD.
Eddie

Went back and read up on both Gliss and Essence plus and i would think Essence plus would be the way to at least do no damage?
Thoughts???

Hey Eddie

Just about everyone that details has some form of OCD so you are in the right place! So considering your cars current positions I would agree that essence plus is going to be the way to go. It has no abrasives in it, so like you said, wont do any damage. I also think it will give your vehicle greater results over the gliss. and here is why

Although gliss can be applied over other coatings, your vehicle has had the coatings on for a long while now, so the chances of having the gliss bond properly aren't as likely as they would have been if you had just coated the car. If you were to go this route, you would want to do a wash with iron x snow soap, do a tar x clean, and then a reset wash, and a final eraser spray before coating.

If you wanted to do the Gliss on its own, then you would have to do the whole polishing process. IE remove the previous coating and get the car back to its original paint. In my opinion if you were to go this route, I would then just re coat the car with a ceramic, then apply the Gliss on top of the fresh coating for an even longer protection. but if you are happy with the coatings still on your car, then this option isn't for you.

Overall the essence is going to only go on top of your vehicle currently, and all you will need to do before applying is give the vehicle a good was with a ph neutral soap (reset), and then hit it with eraser. after that the plus is ready to be applied.
Just make sure, unlike what the bottle says, to do the whole vehicle with the essence plus, and after the whole vehicle is done, then you can wipe it off.
I would bet that the product will make the cars look even better than they do now, but thats only speaking from what I have seen it do to already coated cars.

Hope that all helps and if you have any more questions don't hesitate to ask.
