Picked up a new toy last night

Well the wife got the itch to replace her 65 fastback we sold a few years ago with something. I picked it up for a steal out of Maryland, and will be spending the next few weeks getting it back in tip top shape. It is an 06 S281 3-valve with 126k miles on it and was quite dirty. The interior was really dirty, and the exterior is in need of a full correction. Next winter I might have the front half of the car repainted due to being peppered pretty good. For this year it will get cleaned up real nice and coated with the works from Corey (Finest, Forte, CP Leather) I don't have many pics but here is one from this morning before I unloaded it off the trailer. I also have a few from when we went to look at it last weekend and to test drive it.

I will post some updates as I am doing some work on it.

How is that gonna handle in those central PA snow storms? LOL

Congrats and have fun bringing it back to life.

HAHA, yeah it won't see the roads in the winter just like my 02 GT. It came home and off the trailer and right into the garage. Yesterday I worked on cleaning out the interior, as the previous owner was a smoker and was COVERED in ashes. I also pulled off the molding on the passenger door and fixed it. It was falling off due to the tape failing. It is all good now though, but now it just needs to warm up so I can properly clean it to prep and decon it for paint correction.

Noe Kevin, you speak my kind of language!! I would never sell or trade my 68 Fastback but would definitely add the Saleen to the stable

Chicken....HAHA! The wife and I were I Hershey this weekend for a Christian based Marriage getaway. We stayed at the Hershey Lodge. Even better, we had a huge discount on the room. Very nice.
Best of luck with the new ride. When do you plan on fixing the paint?

Not sure when i will start on the paint Steve, depends when it warms up enough to wash it really good. I can let you know if you want to come hang out for a day.

It is going for inspection next weekend and getting new rubber installed also. The 02 will be getting sold this summer probably due to lack of space.
