polyshave or nanoskin help.

Is it just preference? I'm wondering if there's a difference between these products? Beleive me I'd prefer spending all my money for my detailing needs at Carpro. So if anyone has any thoughts about these products do share. I currently have 1 each of Nanoskin mits and towel but came across this polyshave product and Im intrigued about it. Help.

I have the Nanoskin products only because I bought them prior to finding Car Pro. When needed, I'll be switching to the PolyShave products.

After comparing, reading, and customer reviews, both products are similar in what they do when it comes to deconing. I'm sure you will get some who will say one is better than the other which will inevitably seems to happen.

I feel confident enough with my research that PolyShave will do what it says as long as we Follow the Directions.

There will be some that will like one or the other more I'm sure. I haven't used the Nanoskin ones personally so I can't really compare. I can only say I believe there probably is a difference as I have seen variations even in the batches we have had over the years. I'm not sure if the other branded ones out there have changed over time as well or if that has zero to do with it. On this particular product I can only say I am not the most educated on all of the choices on the market and their differences. I'd love to say something different but thats the truth so its all i got! :)

Thanks Sir personally I prefer the mit type I have a hard time holding on to the towe maybe my hands r wimpy wimpy wimpy.

Hello OP,
I ran a detail business for 14 years (been a while) and we traditionally used claybars. However, I discovered the Nano Skin "sponges" a few years ago and have used it exclusively on my personal vehicles. The new technology is fantastic, btw.

I'd be hesitant in recommending or using a DA claybar pad simply because there is the possibility of causing significant paint marring. Even the Nano Skin sponges are capable of causing some light marring. The DA pad may be faster but unless your detailing for a living and having to knock out a dozen cars in a day, I would never use it personally. You're really not going to save that much time -vs- a sponge or mitt, but your risk is significantly greater. I also prefer to be able to "feel" the surface as I am claying; you lose that ability with a DA pad.
