Prewash for one car with Quartz uk 3 and another with Quartz sic.

Put these on two weeks ago. I'll use Reset for the regular hand wash. Should I use Reset in foam cannon to loosen then spray off then hand bucket wash with Reset?
Is Lift foam safe to use or just for a really dirty car?

Also wheels have Quartz uk 3.0. Audi and BMW. Any recommendations for prewash to get most of the brake dust off before hand washing wheels? I have Lift, WheelX, and Reset.

Hi Michael, Since it’s only been two weeks, Reset will be sufficient for your cannon, bucket wash, and wheel cleaning.

If the car has gotten extremely dirty in that time, you can use Lift as a pre-wash, then follow with a contact wash using Reset. For the wheels, if they still need more cleaning after the Lift, you can follow up with WheelX.

Thanks for the reply. Used lift foam on my wheels (dry wheels, no prerinse) and pressure wash off, Got off about 95% of dirt and brake dust. Much better than just pressure wash spraying.

Paint used Reset foam which worked well. But my paint wasn't that dirty.

For cleaning wheels
I'm a BiG fan of TUGA Devil Special Wheel Cleaner a EZ Detail Brush Big for inside the wheels and a CARPRO Detailing Brush Set for lug nuts.

After spraying Tuga (let it turn purple) use the brushes on the inside and outside of the wheels.
Once it is brushed then rinse it off and wash with a car soap like Reset.

SIDE NOTE: BMW's are notorious for brake dust.
