The black leather dashboard is my primary concern although I want to treat and protect the leather seats as well. Thus, my thought is that UV protection is a priority.

Should I use PERL-500 followed by Scholl Concepts Skin Leather Care?

I would use Cquartz leather coating will work much better for both areas and It's very easy to apply.

Thank you, this looks like a much better product than what I have.

If you have any question with application please let me know I'll pm you my number.

From my actual experience, I would recommend: Ultima Interior Guard Plus (UIGP), Cquartz Leather Coating, and 303 Aerospace Protectant. I used 303 for the longest (3 years) and my dash looks better than new. I believe 303 has the best UV protection, tested and proven years and years by many including pros.

I have tested and used all 3 in my cars and like them all. UIGP gives you the best silky smooth feeling that makes you never stop touching your seats and I'm serious!

Cquartz leather is the best in term of preventing dye transfer or ink transfer. Nothing can really stick to it including super glue and yes the claim in their video ad is true.

I read a review on Ultima Interior Guard Plus that stated it appears cloudy on black leather. The leather in my Jeep is black and so I am not going to take a chance on the UIGP.

I ordered the Cquartz; is this tedious to apply? I have no skills or experience with detailing. I need the UV protection for the dashboard, so the 303 Arerospace seems good. However, now I must ask about using it on black leather.

It's very easy to apply you can give me a call if you have problems. I've applied it to almost every color never a problem. 425-301-6070

I have black interior and leather on my Lexus IS250 2012 with FSport package. UIGP only makes my interior cleaner and good looking. I don't have cloudy issue with it.

Here is my very detailed how to guide on how to use all three products (303, UIGP and Carpro Cquartz leather). I use all 3 in my cars because I want the best of all worlds.
