Review: CarPro Reset

Gotta love Reset. Was washing the car, noticed a section as I was flooding the vehicle after rinsing that was what I call "dirty sheeting" where when you flood the water over a section theres still tiny water droplets that remain like they're clung on to dirt. Simply hit that section again with a few more passes of my Increisponge w/ Reset soap mixture and bam, perfect sheeting.

Love it!!! That's awesome

Oh boy looks like I have another thing on the list to order. Is this something you would recommend for every wash on a coated car, or just periodically?

Reset is a great every time wash. No reason not to use it every wash.

Has anyone used it in a foam cannon?

I have and I like it. I put about an inch or so in the tank, filled it with warm water, and slightly opened the proportioner valve. I really liked it. I will try and get a picture. I also have softened water so I'm not sure if that helps.

I also like the scent. If I ever run out of cologne I can just splash a little Reset...LOL.

Worked great in the foam gun. Used 2oz on Middle setting. The bucket wash wasn't what I expected but it was still very good.

Ok - I used another product for my wash today and I wish I had used Reset. I didn't really appreciate it the first time around.

Have used Reset now 3 times. Awesome shampoo. I will be buying it by the big container when Im running low.

Curiosity will kill me and the cat. Mind sharing which product it was?

CG Citrus Wash Clear- I've used it before and have always been happy with it and the price point is great. I've got too many car wash shampoos on hand!
I am really trying to find the perfect wash and just stick with one and keep it simple.

Agreed!! I had a detail yesterday, Reset all the way [emoji2][emoji2][emoji2] and also agreed, I'm buying in bulk as well!! [emoji6][emoji2][emoji2]

if i have a 3 gallon sprayer and i add an ounce but do not use all of it for washing, will it store well until next wash or how long can it be stored like this? i just ordered some and was thinking of using a sprayer to apply then wash mitt and rinse.

I used Reset a couple times on my CQ UK'd Tahoe and noticed a hell of a lot of film left behind after copious rinsing. On paint, glass, and chrome. All the rinsing in the world, could be for days on end, wouldn't take off the film.

Why was this? Did I possibly use too much Reset ratio to water?

This is very unusual Mark, this is the first time I've ever heard this. Usually it's just the opposite. Reset is very concentrated, at what dilution ratio did you use it?

Hi,
Can't tell you the concentration off the top of my head, but am sure I tried following directions of the mix ratio exactly.

It should be noted also, that this was a "reloaded" CQ UK Coating, not sure that should have made any difference?

Hi Mark,

Any chance of cross contamination? Have you used any other soap/shampoo products that may have contained additives, i.e. Wax, gloss enhancers?

Steve
