I am reviewing Ultima Acrylic Waterless wash. It can be used as a waterless wash, rinse less, I also used it very successfully as a clay lube and my favorite way as a combination of waterless/rinse less. UAWW leaves a layer of protection behind I am not sure how long it will last but I will post updates.

To use UAWW as a waterless wash you mix 1oz. to 22oz. of water for a rinse less you mix 1oz. to three gallons of water.

When I try out products for the first time I try to push the boundaries of the product so I can learn as much about it as possible, so I used UAWW in the sun with a slight wind blowing.

I really liked UAWW it had a good cleaning ability and was very slick and left a nice gloss.

The truck I worked on was my wife's 2011 Dodge Ram, this truck sits outside most of the time and is in constant motion so much so I have not been able to compound and polish it. My wife uses this truck as like a work truck it stays constantly dirty. In fact I had to stop while I was working on the wheels so she could haul some brush.

Here is the side of the truck after used UAWW. The gloss and reflection of the paint was greatly improved.

I was very pleased with the product even in horrible conditions it excelled. It did one of the best jobs cleaning glass streak free I have used. It made a real quick job of cleaning and adding a layer of protection of the truck.

A couple of things I learned about using the product in the sun and wind was do not let it dry out on glass or chrome, it will take a few sprays of product and some elbow grease to remove the dried product (I am hoping that speaks to its durability). As long as you adjust your work area accordingly it is a breeze to use in the worst conditions.

One thing of note the truck feels extremely slick. Here are some beading shots from 8-26-16

Hello wlshephard, WOW I don't know how I missed this when you first posted it. Anyway, great review! Thanks for making time to do it for us!

So what is in it that dries out on glass? I wonder how it would be in the hot temps here in FL?

Moisture (water or other liquid) like in all products evaporates naturally. After it is dry different products wipe off in different ways, some are meant to wipe while wet. In other words depending on humidity, paint, environment... In this case it sounds like William found the acrylic in it to stick if allowed to dry.

It should work really well. It was easy to remove off the chrome and glass. A couple of sprays of the product and it wiped the residue right off.

As I mentioned before I intentionally tested the product in a worst case scenario and it worked like a champ. If used as the instructions states (not in the sun or wind) it will perform flawlessly.

Just a quick update. It has been two months since I did the truck and it is still amazingly slick and water still beads nicely. The truck has also seemed to stay cleaner than normal. I am impressed to say the least.
