I've posted previous reviews about these products but decided to do a video this morning as I had the perfect vehicle to show both.

Vehicle is a 2005 Mitsibishi Outlander. Paint is Labrador Black Pearl Coat; it has lots of blue, purple and silver metallic in it.

It's had a normal life of automatic car washes and one bucket washes.

First step is the Scholl Concepts 5in Spider pad w/ Menz FG400

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MoMuNhZRsDA

The amount of cut this foam pad is on par w/ any microfiber disc I've used. In the video I could have worked the FG400 longer but because the halogen lights had been on for so long it looked like it was starting to dry out and I didn't want it to be hard to wipe off.

Second step is the Buff & Shine Orange medium cutting pad and CarPro's Reflect. I changed the angle of the lights to better show the micro marring left behind from the first step. If I had been able to work the FG400 a little longer there wouldn't have been as much micro marring. However this allowed me to show off how great Reflect is.

After the third pass the Reflect should be completely broken down. No dusting and very easy to wipe off.

I'm sure others do it differently, I just wanted to share what works for me.

Thanks for looking!

Very, very nice Jason! GREAT videos! Thanks so much for taking the time to do them and for sharing them with us (I know it takes a lot of extra time to do things like this)!! I've been enjoying the spider pads also, they are awesome for sure. In addition to the things you said, I like how easily they clean on the fly with a nylon brush and how much paint I can polish before having to change to a fresh one. I haven't used them with FG400 yet, but I have been getting great results with Scholl Concepts S3 gold paired with spider pads. This combo makes for a wicked one step. Here's a thread I posted using that combo. (Sorry not as nice as yours, no video...:shrug shoulders:)

I'm sure you've probably already seen this thread posted Zach... http://carproforum.com/showthread.php?48-DIY-LED-Work-Light, but wanted to be sure. I built some of these lights using the links he supplied in the thread and I have to say it's one of the very best things I've done in a long time. They are truly AWESOME!! They show defects like nobody's business, they are very light weight, and best of all; virtually no heat! I have since moved my halogens to a dark corner in the very back of my shop. Best $100 I've spent in a long time!!

Holy crap man, that's some fantastic work for sure! I bought some S3 a while back but have only used it once or twice. I need to spend some time with it. Honestly I should have tried it on the vehicle I'm doing now but I didn't. Thank you for the kind words. I appreciate it!

I was thinking about that thread while I was making the first video. It's definitely something I need to do...soon.

I use to work with "HELL"ogens, not anymore thanks to Zach! I do use them at times just as an extra inspection light but those focus LEDs will show you everything in a "new light"
