Carpro Gliss!

I did my first application and layer of GLISS last night. Temps were in the mid 70's with 80% humidity.

I can tell you that when applying GLISS when I tried to do a "cross-hatch" (overlap) that the applicator would start to feel sticky. My observation is that the GLISS was flashing that quickly because when apply the first pass the it felt like applying a super slick oil.

I was having GLISS flash/haze within 30 seconds in most cases.

I am working on a full review as well as I am planning on it being a long term review as well
Yes it is same situation in Singapore with average 32-35deg C,90% Humid.
So i apply in more wet application. Everything was going well.

Humidity is not an issue here in Southern California. I was able to to get the cross hatch pattern to work for me. But I changed my speed as I figured out what worked better. I went faster with Gliss compared to applying CQUK or TiO2.

I found that after buffing off gliss and heat to cure with IR.
Sometimes it will have some hazy spot when panel was heated, but it is easy to buff off.
If you dont cure with IR, those hazy spot will appear after few days and it will gone by simple buffing.

Experienced this on my most recent use of Gliss over CQUK 3.0. It was rather warm and humid when I applied it. Don’t have IR lamps.

This is what it looks like. It seems to come off easy and I will see if it’s gone after the first wash.

I should mention that this is 48 hours after it was applied.

Well after the first wash the hazing from Gliss is gone. It has not returned. Just odd that it does this at certain temperatures/humidity. If I did this as a business it would not be something I would like to see on a customers vehicle.
