It was leaked so many times on Autogeek and in the Autogeek Facebook group that it was an easy guess for most folks.

There is a ton of spray and wipe products that are getting 6 months durability and many that get 9 months or more. What sets this apart from them or is this just CarPro trying to get some of the market share?

Sadly, with the introduction of new consumer-based, easy-to-use, long-lasting LSP products.
I'm seeing a possible end to the Boutique high-end car care products. (expensive waxes etc.).

The box says 6+ months durability on it. If it is like CanCoat it will exceed the 6 month mark easily and be much closer to the 1 year mark.

Would using Lite on top of Essence provide any extended longevity I wonder? And yes, I understand the environment the vehicle is in has a lot to do with it...
This should be a nice product. CarPro wouldn’t make a product until it met their expectations. From what I get about it, it’s a coating thats meant to be competitive to other coatings entry level stuff. It will benefit CarPro installers and also some diy guys. Also, for someone who is on the fence about ceramic coatings.

The only thing about Pan's video is that he applied Reload after so are we seeing the hydrophobic properties of Reload or Lite? Sandro on the other hand clearly shows the hydrophobic properties. I do agree with what Sandro mentioned in his video on using it myself.

That goes hand-in-hand with other CQuartz coatings that recommend using RELOAD for its specific purpose to help combat water spots in certain situations.
If anything, it’s advice given multiple times when doing CQuartz coatings and is one of the top questions asked.
In Pan’s video,in my opinion, it gives a complete start to finish application and “should” clear up any questions or concerns for those who may be new to coatings and the RELOAD application.
We all know that Car Pro would not release a coating that, when applied properly, didn’t exhibit hydrophobic results. Nothing wrong with the other video either. I just think Pan’s is more complete to address a broader spectrum of situations.

Yes I get that. But it does not depict the actual hydrophobic performance of the coating. You and I both know that Reload is not as hydrophobic as a coating. No comparison in my opinion.
Reload after application is really to protect the coating from getting water spots in the first 48 hours. Not really a concern in sunny conditions like mine.
Sandro on the other hand clearly showed the water behavior of the product. That is all I am saying.
As a matter of fact I applied Lite to a panel of my personal car and did not apply Reload whatsoever.
