Hey Gang,

So with my last order, I picked up some Shine Supply Tire Cleaner. I was asked to doll up a Jeep. It was one of my wife's co-workers dads, who recently passed away. She wants to sell it so I helped her out.

Anyway, I mixed it 2:1 and applied. Without me even touching it here is a picture about 1 minute in...

I then agitated with a tire brush and followed up with one more application. Tires were coated with PEARL. Final results...

FYI, wheels were treated with IRON X and when all was said and done they were coated with RELOAD.

Steve, thanks for the writeup and pics buddy!I love seeing your work my friend!

Looks great Steve!! With all that brown coming out, it kinda reminds me of some old ARO. Love the Jeep!

Just curious if directions say to dilute or were you testing?

Thnx

Does PERL sling? I refuse to dress the tires due to slinging.
You did a beautiful job on the Jeep. The results are unreal.

Thank you. Nope. I let it sit for awhile then checked before leaving. If I thought it needed it, I would have gave a quick wipe.

I use it at straight full concentrate and LOVE this stuff. I'm sure it may be overkill but it's so inexpensive by the gallon that it's not a big deal for me. The most effective no non-sense tire cleaner I've ever used.

I love this stuff. I usually use it 3:1...i am sure 4:1 will work fine, depending on how dirty the tires are. might just have to work it in more.

how does it stack up with Four Star tire cleaner? The results from the pics look very similar to the results in Four Star

I love it, has anyone tried 4:1?

4:1 works fine but I like the 3:1 better if doing a maintenance wash. In other words, I have cleaned the tires of the vehicle with the 2:1 mix on the initial detail wash.

Thanks guys. I never used a dedicated tire cleaner before I always used a APC, I am really trying to simplify my products. So how does Megs super degreaser sound for the wheels?

So 3:1 in a 32oz bottle is 32÷4=8?

When it come to wheels, Reset in a dedicated tire bucket, along with wash media is all I use. If I need to use something stronger, I like that green German stuff Corey sells.

As far as your mix formula in a 32 oz bottle....8 oz of tire cleaner to 24 oz. of water. So yes, your math is correct or we are both wrong...LOL!
