Well I don't own a black car but you should be able to feel the slickness while applying and removing reload off the surface.

You would be using Ech2o as a drying aid to help with avoiding water spots.

My truck is coated with CQ Finest. I work right next to the Northeast Rail line corridor. I use Iron X maybe twice a year...

Not necessarily about the Reload. At worst, the Reload mixed 1:1 may not last as long as full strength.
You can do another Reload coat and, unless you park at a railroad yard, no need to IronX again.

Ok good. I just have to figure out how to wash and dry faster. It always seems like my truck dries too fast.

Now that I have the Metrovac I'm hoping that helps especially now that I have reload on the truck.

Plenty of shade and a cool vehicle. I have it down to a science. Keeping up on the maintenance routine is key. Admittedly, there are sometimes when it does take me longer due to the dirt level, such as prolonged rainy period, snow, etc...
 
I get everything set up, three buckets, one for the wheels alone, foam cannon filled, drying devices plugged in and ready. I start with my wheels and tires and go from there. Now when I do a decon regiment then it takes longer.
Each time you do your routine cleaning, look back at where you can tweek things...

I usually do have everything set up ready to go. What do you use to wash the top of your truck? I have a bench that I stand on and wash half then move the bench and wash the other half. That takes time. I'm hoping the incredipole comes out soon because I could use it.

How does using a quick detailer help in the drying process and do you have to use a lot? That wouldn't work for when I want to use the metrovac would it.

I have a large step stool along with a device sorta like the incredi mitt pole from another vendor.
I use an air drying device myself but a q.d adds lubricity to the towel drying process. It "may" also add a small level of protection, depending on which product you use. It may also help reduce water spots in some situations.
 
Several times I saw guys with a hose washing huge industrial trucks. At first glance, this procedure doesn't look like it can damage the car. Although I'll be honest, I didn't see a washing machine nearby. But the owner of those trucks is my old friend. I know that he has been using these services for several years and has no complaints about the quality of work. Maybe I wouldn't risk washing a sports car or an ordinary family car in the same way. But it's a good option for large rough machines.
